Theme Thursday - Tempo (meteorológico)

Theme Thursdays é uma rubrica semanal, que funciona de quinta a quinta, organizada pela kavyen do blog Reading between Pages. 

Todos podem participar! Estas são as regras:
  • Um tema será colocado online todas as semanas (à quinta)
  • Pegar no livro que estamos a ler e escolher uma conversa/fragmento/frase
  • Mencionar o autor e o título do livro no post
  • É importante que o tema seja mencionado na frase (embora esta não tenha, necessariamente, de conter a palavra)

Este mês os temas foram sugeridos pelos participantes e, cada semana, um tema é escolhido de forma aleatória. Esta semana foi escolhido o tema que eu sugeri! Bem, eu e a Marla do blog Starting the Next Chapter. Mas esta semana sinto que tenho a responsabilidade de encontrar um bom excerto! Espero conseguir. Sem mais demoras...

O tema desta semana é - TEMPO (METEOROLÓGICO)

"O Drochet estava verde e impetuoso com as neves do Ben Callie, e os abetos mostravam-se quietos e húmidos no meio do degelo. Só às vezes uma lufada de vento atingia a professora, no seu pedalar incessante, montada na bicicleta sem pneumáticos, através da neve resvaladiça, encosta acima. Quando estava já perto do Ben Callie, viu a tempestade que se levantava do lago e se dirigia para leste, o princípio da grande tormenta que veio com o degelo."

    "The Drochet was green and leaping with the snows from Ben Callie and the fir trees were still and dripping in the still thaw, only whiles a whisper of wind stirring them would send a scatter of drops across the path of the schoolmistress as she pedal-pedalled her bit boneshaker through the slush abd up the brae. It was only when she was near the glen head, which is to say on the tail of the Ben itself, that she saw the storm coming from over the loch, east away, the beginning of the great storm that came with that thaw. "
