A minha opinião: Este é um conto doce e natalício. A melhor amiga de Natalie, Hope, vai passar o Natal fora com o namorado e, como sabe que Natalie tem a casa a abarrotar de família, deixa-lhe as chaves para que ela se possa refugiar lá. Só que o irmão mais velho de Hope, Clark, resolve ir também passar o Natal sozinho em casa.

O problema é que Natalie sempre foi apaixonada por Clark, mas nunca agiu, não só por medo da rejeição, mas também porque temia perder a melhor amiga. Contudo, agora estão os dois presos na casa devido à neve e, depois de comerem o jantar que Clark cozinha, têm de partilhar uma cama. Conseguirá Natalie resistir à tentação, mesmo pesando tudo o que pode acontecer? E se Clark também estiver a tentar resistir?

Gostei, mas teria gostado que a história fosse mais desenvolvida.

Hope Harbor is full of gorgeous fish happy to hop on my hook anytime I’m in town. Too bad the only one I want doesn’t fall for my lines, and has no interest in my pole. Pretty sure she’d be happy if I took a long walk off the end of the short pier and never resurfaced.

The more Mya pushes me away, the more I want to reel her in. The truth is—I’m the one who’s hooked. And one night together is all it takes to know I never want to be released.

A minha opinião: Anthony ganhou a lotaria há alguns anos. E percebeu rapidamente que isso o tornou bastante popular, especialmente para interesseiros. À primeira qualquer um pode cair, à segunda só cai quem quer, por isso Anthony aprendeu a lição. Nada de relações, só sexo.

Mas há um ano ele foi a Hope Harbor, a cidade natal do seu melhor amigo Jensen, e conheceu Mya. E, pela primeira vez em muito tempo, começou a considerar quebrar a sua regra. Afinal, ao contrário das outras mulheres, Mya não só não parece nada impressionada com a sua fortuna, parece nem gostar particularmente de Anthony...

E é verdade. Mya acha Anthony convencido e arrogante, um Casanova que acha que todas as mulheres estão interessadas nele. Mas não Mya, ela faz questão de lhe mostrar o quão não interessada nele está de cada vez que ele se desloca a Hope Harbor.

Contudo, agora Jensen vai casar com a melhor amiga de Mya, Bailey, e ela e Anthony vão ser os padrinhos do casal o que significa que vão ter de passar bastante tempo juntos. Conseguirá Anthony provar a Mya que não é a pessoa que ela pensa que ele é? E que o seu interesse nela é genuíno?

Gostei bastante. Apesar de ser uma história pequena, e de não ter lido o livro anterior, achei que a autora fez um bom trabalho e não senti que me faltasse contexto essencial. Fiquei com vontade de ler a série.

A minha opinião: É uma prequela do primeiro livro da série (que eu não li) e conta-nos a história da irmã do protagonista desse livro, Kimmy Kennedy, e de como se apaixonou pelo melhor amigo dele, Kent.

Estão ambos a viver temporariamente com o irmão dela e a atracção é imediata. Iniciam uma relação secreta, mas ele rapidamente percebe que a ama e que ela é a mulher da vida dele. Agora só tem de a convencer a ela e ao seu melhor amigo...

É possível que tivesse gostado mais se tivesse lido o livro do irmão, mas ainda assim, é um romance leve que se ouve bem.
