A minha opinião: Christopher Argent é um assassino. Tal como os outros protagonistas da série, ele teve uma vida difícil e traumatizante e fez o necessário para sobreviver. Isso tornou-o frio e sem emoções e, portanto, perfeito para a profissão que escolheu. Mas agora foi contratado para matar a famosa actriz Millicent LeCour e, por algum motivo, falha sempre que tenta.
Convencido que não irá conseguir cumprir o contracto, Christopher propõe-lhe protegê-la a ela e ao seu filho Jakub em troca duma noite juntos. Millie aceita, não só porque Christopher é a única hipótese que tem de sobreviver e de proteger Jakub, mas também porque se sente incrivelmente atraída por ele.
Enquanto tentam descobrir quem quer matar Millie e porquê, a atracção entre Christopher e Millie torna-se em muito mais, mas conseguirá Millie convencer Christopher que, ao contrário do que ele pensa, não só ele a merece, como é a ele que ela quer ao seu lado.
Não gostei tanto como do anterior, mas, ainda assim, é uma boa leitura.
