I didn´t participate in the instagram challenges this time, but I did manage to read and I published two opinions. During the read-a-thon I read:

Sinopse: A "why choose" instalove weekend of fun!

My plans for a solitary weekend of hiking and hot tubbing at my family’s cabin in the mountains take a turn when I arrive at dusk, only to discover it’s been rented out. And the unexpected guests aren’t exactly strangers to me. They’re construction workers who renovated my college dorm. Who growled at any boy who dared to look in my direction while I was trying to study.

I don’t need protection this weekend, though. I’m looking for a sweet kind of oblivion that it turns out only four strong arms can provide. Little do I realize they want a lot more than forty-eight hours of uninhibited bliss. These possessive men want double the happy ever after.

A minha opinião: Emily vai sozinha para a cabana da família nas montanhas com o objectivo de recarregar baterias. Mas está lá há pouco tempo quando descobre que a cabana foi alugada. Oferece-se imediatamente para ir embora, mas Heath e Wyatt, os arrendatários, garantem-lhe que não há problema em partilharem a cabana. Emily acaba por aceder porque, embora ela não se lembre deles, eles reconhecem-na porque estiveram envolvidos nas renovações na residência estudantil onde ela vive actualmente.

Ela sente-se incrivelmente atraída por ambos e eles já tinham uma cena por ela, por isso o inevitável acaba por acontecer. Mas ela não consegue, nem quer, escolher um deles, pelo que acabam por formar um trio.

A relação acaba por se focar nela, mas também li o epílogo, Five Days, Five Months, Five Years, que, tal como o nome indica, se passa cinco dias, cinco meses e cinco anos depois, e aí já temos um vislumbre da relação entre Heath e Wyatt. Gostei bastante.

A minha opinião: Isla Thompson é uma consultora de redes sociais em ascensão e adora o que faz. Infelizmente, estava a transmitir em directo quando uma jovem estrela tem um colapso nervoso. O que a torna persona non grata no meio... Rejeitada de todas as vagas disponíveis, Isla está desesperada. Afinal, não se trata apenas dela, mas também da sua irmão adolescente, Dani.

Theo Garrison é um herdeiro rico que gere a editora da família, mas é conhecido como o Eremita da Quinta Avenida. Uma característica com tendência para se agravar, especialmente agora depois da morte da avó, a mulher que o criou após a morte dos seus pais e que ele adorava. E que continua a interferir na sua vida, mesmo depois de morta... Ela deixou-lhe a sua cadela Camilla, bem como um conjunto de instruções muitos específico sobre como cuidar dela. O problema é que Camilla é mimada e temperamental e todas as pessoas que ele contratou para cuidar dela acabaram por desistir...

É quando Theo está a passear Camilla e ela se está a comportar como a diva que é, que Isla interage com ela e Camilla, surpreendentemente, obedece, o que motiva Theo a oferecer a posição a Isla, pelo triplo do que ela ganhava. É a oportunidade perfeita para se reorganizar e planear o seu regresso enquanto assegura a sua sobrevivência e a de Dani.

Mas nem Isla é tão fútil como Theo inicialmente pensava, nem Theo é o antipático carrancudo que aparentava ser, e quanto mais tempo passam juntos e melhor se conhecem, mais se apreciam mutuamente. Contudo, ela é empregada dele o que significa que nunca poderá acontecer algo entre eles, certo? E o que acontecerá quando ele descobrir o segredo que ela esconde?

Gostei muito da história e do desabrochar da relação entre a Isla e o Theo. Também adorei a Dani e a Camilla que não é tão má como parece, mas está a sofrer tal como o Theo.
