Tough and stubborn through and through, she’s a curvy spitfire in cowboy boots that doesn’t have time for romance and wouldn’t be caught dead asking a man for help.
That is, until a certain large, tattooed, bearded hottie moves to her dusty corner of the world and decides to turn his stern but loving attention to her and help her whether she likes it or not.

Vive para o trabalho, com excepção da sua paixão por motas e do aspecto de motoqueiro (barba e tatuagens). Tanto ele como os seus três melhores amigos não têm qualquer interesse em assentar. Afinal, eles sabem como são os casamentos da alta sociedade. Mas as famílias deles fazem-lhes um ultimato: ou casam ou perdem tudo.
E é assim que eles decidem que, já que são obrigados a casar, então vão arranjar as noivas mais ultrajantes que conseguirem encontrar.
Linc encontra a sua na pequena cidade de Contrary, no Texas. Audrey Honeycomb é uma pasteleira que toma conta do rancho da família e dos irmãos mais novos desde a adolescência. Ela está acostumada a tratar de tudo sozinha e é teimosa e determinada, não tem tempo nem paciência a perder com motoqueiros de passagem.
Contudo, Linc também é bastante determinado e não desiste enquanto não consegue o que quer. E o que ele quer é Audrey e não apenas para chatear a família. Conseguirá ele convencê-la a dar-lhe uma hipótese? E o que acontecerá quando ela descobrir quem ele realmente é?
Esta foi outra história que ouvi enquanto lia. O romance é fofinho e as cenas entre eles são bastante quentes. Fiquei curiosa por saber quem seriam as mulheres escandalosas que os amigos do Linc escolheriam, mas a autora não publicou mais nenhum livro da série.
