This time I didn't forget... Three more months have passed, and it's time for a checkpoint!
1. Tell us how many miles you've made it up your mountain (# of books read). If you're really ambitious, you can do some intricate math and figure out how the number of books you've read correlates to actual miles up Pike's Peak, Mt. Ararat, etc.
I've read fifteen books so far, which means I've climbed 3005 m on my way to the top of Mount Blanc.
These are the books I read until the end of September:
- Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell
- Atonement, by Ian McEwan
- One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel García Márquez
- E. Lockhart
- The Sense of an Ending, by Julian Barnes
- Romancing Mister Bridgerton, by Julia Quinn
- Fight Club, by Chuck Palahniuk
- The Longest Ride, by Nicholas Sparks
- Cat Among the Pigeons, by Agatha Christie
- To Sir Phillip, With Love, by Julia Quinn
- The Unforgiven, by Patricia MacDonald
- Scandal in Spring, by Lisa Kleypas
- Secrets of Surrender, by Madeline Hunter
- When Beauty Tamed the Beast, by Eloisa James
- Club Dead, by Charlaine Harris
A. Who has been your favorite character so far? And tell us why, if you like.
Cath from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell because she's just a normal girl, with normal problems and I could really identify with her...
B. Pair up two of your reads using whatever connection you want to make. Written by the same author? Same genre? Same color cover? Both have a main character named Clarissa? Tell us the books and what makes them a pair.
I read two books from Julia Quinn's The Bridgertons' series, so I'm pairing them up: Romancing Mister Bridgerton and To Sir Phillip, With Love.
C. Which book (read so far) has been on your TBR mountain the longest? Was it worth the wait? Or is it possible you should have tackled it back when you first put it on the pile? Or tossed it off the edge without reading it all?

The book that has been the longest on my shelf is still One Hundred Years of Solitude, a resident since 2004.
D. Choose 1-4 titles from your stacks and using a word from the title, do an image search. Post the first all-eyes-friendly picture associated with that word.
