O Desafio Vintage Mystery Reading 2012 é organizado pelo blog My Reader's Block e consiste em ler, em 2012, livros do género mistério escritos antes de 1960 que se enquadrem num determinado tema.

O tema que escolhi foi Cherchez le Homme: 4 livros de autores masculinos OU 4 livros com detectives masculinos.

Li 4 livros com detectives masculinos:

• À Beira do Abismo de Ray­mond Chan­dler (detective Phillip Marlowe);
• Morte no Nilo de Agatha Christie (detective Hercule Poirot);
• O Mistério de Battersea de Dorothy L. Sayers (detective Peter Wimsey);
• O Mistério do Quarto Amarelo de Gaston Leroux (detective Joseph Rouletabille).

The Vintage Mystery Reading Challenge 2012 was organized by My Reader's Block and it consisted of reading, in 2012, books that are from the mystery category and that have been written before 1960.

I chose the level Cherchez le Homme: 4 books by male authors OR 4 books with male detectives.

I read 4 books with male detectives:

• The Big Sleep by Ray­mond Chan­dler (detective Phillip Marlowe);
• Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie (detective Hercule Poirot);
• Whose Body? by Dorothy L. Sayers (detective Peter Wimsey);
• The Mystery of the Yellow Room by Gaston Leroux (detective Joseph Rouletabille).
