It comes to no surprise to me that the Portuguese cover is more attractive vs. the US cover. For some reason US book covers are notoriously bad vs. their international counterparts.
ResponderEliminarAny time I've been presented with different book covers, with a US/non-US version, the non-US version usually wins, hands down.
I wonder if it's because the US versions are tied more to a strict creative budget or something, and so rush out these dodgy covers... who knows?
On the other hand, the books are cheaper when compared to the portuguese ones, so maybe there's a positive side to a strict creative budget...
